The world is violent and mercurial--it will have its way with you. We are saved only by love--love for each other and the love that we pour into the art we feel compelled to share: being a parent; being a writer; being a painter; being a friend. We live in a perpetually burning building, and what we must save from it, all the time, is love.”
— Tenessee Williams
I paused my career for fifteen years because I adopted two babies and had no idea what I was getting into. I stayed home with them so I wouldn’t screw them up, and surprise, I screwed them up anyway.
The great Mitzi Shore took me under her wing.
I toured, I did late night TV, Vegas showrooms, cable specials, and films. I performed at venues like the Just for Laughs Festival. I was the first comic Arsenio Hall invited to be on his iconic late night show.
Then I crashed the whole thing down. Motherhood. I came back to comedy three years ago hoping someone would listen to me because nobody did at my house.
I have been lucky and busy since I came back working clubs, indie shows and festivals.
When I was a young comic I was banned from the Tonight Show because I did the Joan Rivers Show! I made the right choice, which is so unusual for me.
I am so grateful to be doing comedy again. I am right where I want to be, doing comedy, spreading love and sticking it to the man.
My name is on the wall of the Comedy Store. Nobody knows who put it there.
come see me!
Comedian. Storyteller. Actor.
Where should I perform next?
Please leave me your email and your hometown!
